Hello, go into the music options and select any of the custom tracks you are using.
You should be able to press start and enter the loop tuner option. With that you can customize the looping point of your audio tracks so that they loop perfectly.

It's either your antivirus blocking it, windows defender, or windows itself. Check their options to see if they are blocking it, and use Google to find a guide on how to set an exception for the game to be allowed to run.
I really hate having to ask this, because I feel like I suck. That said, let me preface this with the fact I managed to beat all of the special stages here. That said, they have the same issue as with the ones in another incredible fan game, Sonic Time twisted. That is, the difficulty factor is so high that it is crossing into frustration factor, and even after getting good enough to actually beat them, I don't care to ever do it again. In a future update, I highly suggest you simply add more rings to them. That would make it easier, still a challenge, but something that would at least be doable enough that it would increase the games replay value. I would otherwise want to play again, but the special stages are keeping me from it. Honestly the stages themselves could use a higher amount of rings too, but the special stages are definitely the ones hurting the most for it.
I'm sorry to read you encountered difficulties, but I did made the game harder than the average Sonic game intentionally, and I still think it aligns fairly well into the average difficulty of games in the nineties (which the game is trying to emulate).
The special stages have been tested a lot, and they are not as difficult as they first seem. I saw more than one person nailing them on first try, and I consistently manage to gather around 2x the required amount.
Each bonus stage contains more than 3x the required ring amount per phase, meaning that for example the very first special stage section with 30 rings requirement has more than 90 already there.
It's just a matter of practice and in identifying the ring patterns. The most common occurence is a left-right alternating sequence of rings, where you have to jump from a side to the other with almost no directional input.
Do not give up. Practice and get better. Special stages have usually been not on the easy side at first, not even blue spheres is without any practice, knowledge of the map and its jump mechanics.

I hope that you are reading this fine but I would like to know if in some future update of the fan game the special phases can be changed since in my opinion they are a little uncomfortable when moving the characters and they are a headache get the emeralds with all the characters. Another thing that I would like to see is if more characters can be put in another update, be it Mighty or Ray or some forgotten character in the franchise. also another thing is that if you can make mods with the characters that are in the game either skin or custom skills. well here I end and have a good day for sure good job SotaKnuck good fan game
Hello Dxbshz38, thank you for playing! At the moment I have no plans to add new characters to the game. I considered the possibility of creating something to allow people to mod characters in, but fusion and sonic worlds delta aren't that flexible to easily get that without changing too much code.
Hello. I want to congratulate you on your great work. I want to ask you, is there a way to run the game on its original ratio (4:3) in full screen? The game runs fine in full screen but when in panoramic, it looses its porpotions and the image flattens. Thanks a lot.
When you build the game you have to decide how it will behave in full screen, and it seems there is no way to have it default to stretch and enable the bars as a toggle in game.

Spring Stadium Zone Act 1 can also use it as well but only the water and sky parts would be there while the mountains and waterfalls are just in Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2. You don't have to use the mountain with the Eggman face by the way. It's free to use. You just have to give credit to the creator. That's all. Unfortunately its an automated behaviour of your operating system. It is automatically destroying the exe of the game as it decided it is a virus or an unwanted program.
Unless you go in your operating system's option and disable auto deletion you'll never be able to extract the exe out of the archive.
It's either your antivirus, windows defender or the windows itself.
I'm sorry, I have never experienced issues with the dll files of multimedia fusion 2, so I can't provide any suggestion at the moment.
I'm aware it's used in the exe of games made with fusion, and it is rutinely killed off by antiviruses, so I can only suppose it's either your antivirus or windows defender that randomly kills the dll when the game is running.
No, I didn't change anything other than the fixes you can see in the Devlog.
I can only suppose that for now the checks AVs run on the compressed files in the exe return a "valid" number that doesn't match some known virus pattern.

This fangame is good. Now someone pointed out some improvements that this game can use like improving the levels and changing stuff like the special stages and structure which I tend to agree with because there could always be significant improvements made to this like the backgrounds of some zones. For example, I would love the outside background of Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2 (which also appears in Spring Stadium Zone Act 1) to be replaced with a different background that looks more exciting and has some mountains because I tend to not like the current background right now but the new background can still be the evening background. The background of Volcano Valley Zone Act 1 could also go for some improvements because I would love to see the volcanic mountains from the outside background of Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1 to appear because they seem to be useful for the outside part of VVZ1's background. Perhaps those volcanic themed mountains from Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1's outside background can either replace the entirety of the Marble Garden Zone mountains or the front part of Marble Garden Zone's mountains can still be kept while the back ones are replaced. I'd go with the entirety of Marble Garden Zone's backgrounds because I think the background would look better with the volcanic mountains from Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1's outside background and some modifications can be made like removing the crystals that are on the bottom of those volcanic mountains. Gene Gadget Zone Act 2's outside background could also go for some improvements as well I would love to see the current bottom part replaced by the bottom part that's seen in Chrome Gadget Zone. Now some changes to music would be useful as well because I would love that in the Genesis set of songs that the Sonic 3D Blast invincibility theme to play for when the player is invincible while the music can speed up for when the player is on speedy shoes and the music for the mini-bosses is what I would love to be different while the Boss 1 theme is played for the main-bosses of the odd-numbered zones (including Panic Puppet Zone) just like in Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis) when the music mode in Sonic 3D in 2D is set to the Mega Drive version while the theme for the mini-bosses is the Sonic 3 Mini-Boss theme or a composed song made for Sonic 3D in 2D that can play during the mini-bosses of Sonic 3D in 2D. hi, i can't get the spring master achievement. i tried again and again and again. and i can't get the spring master achievement. i've not touched the ground. i've used a spring twice so i've used 5 but i've bounced 6 times. and when i reach the top. there's no achievement unlocked pop-up.
The video has access restriction, you should enable it.
Anyway, Vecnazak published a series of video guides for all the achievements. They're hard to find because Youtube algoritms don't show them...

go to 2.34 to see how he did it (but there are other combinations of springs as well to make it in 5 too). I just retried on 1.21 by resetting my achievements and I got it no problem.
You must use the bottom ramp and never touch the ground, not even slightly.
Also, anyone except Sonic or Ashura is able to climb the wall at the end of the level to go back and retry.

EDIT: you should include a loop info file so that it can be read in game with the proper loop points. You can use the LoopInfo file that is in the "Custom" folder of the Saturn DLC
hi sotaknuck. i'm adding custom music to the game, i've beggined to add custom music to it since a few days. and i'm still putting custom music to it. when i've will complete my custom music pack. i've will publish it to this site with my own instructions. i've will be adding sega genesis remixes of sonic adventure music to it too. considering sonic 3d blast is the last sonic game for the sega genesis/mega drive. and that the 2d artwork of the game was drawn by yuji uekawa. that it was the artist that made the artwork for sonic adventure. yeah i will add sega genesis remixes from sonic adventure songs to it.
Can you add a xBRZ Filter like Sonic 3 A.I.R? it will make the game have a better look and the sprites will look more rounded and cleaner. so it will be nice if you will add a xBRZ Filter.
I won't be able to insert such a filter as the game runs on native resolution of 320x224 and filters like xBRZ work on an upscale of the native resolution.
As far as I know for Fusion 2.5 filters stay on the same resolution of the game frame they are in and I can't apply a filter based on the window frame because the game ignores it.
I am working on a "old TV" filter of sorts though, and I'll release it in a future patch.
oh. and about the green sonic you have in your profile picture. i've searched "sonic riders oc" to find if there's an sonic oc with the visual design from riders. and i've finded a oc that is similar to that green sonic you have in your profile picture. and it's name is zack the hedgehog.

Hello again, as today I decided to play the game again, in a game of knuckles, I was in pannic puppet act 1, I thought that if I did what you see in the video nothing would happen, but I think I found another bug
Ah! I see! it's the same problem there was with Shadow in that very same cutscene, and a similar one with Tails in Green Grove 1 that I fixed on old patches.
In short when the cutscene start the controller input is frozen and the button for the glide action remains pressed. This causes Knux to glide forward too much.

Not only happens with that starpost, it happens with the entire level, even if you do not touch the starpost that is before the boss of the level and you die, the act will have that background :(
I have a question, I was playing in Pannic Puppet Zone, more specific in act 2, and when I died I noticed something different, so I decided to take a screenshot and I realized that the background changed when I died, I don't know if it's a glitch or is it normal
The special stages a piss easy once you get the pattern down
near VVZ, the game just nose dives in difficulty, especially the bosses. i'll name a few: VVZ 1 Boss, GGZ 1 Boss, PPZ 1 Boss (ugh, fuck this one especially), and TFF Phase 1.
in the final fight zone, can you make it so if you get to phase 2, you can restart from said phase? cause fuck restarting from the first phase.
can you try to fix some, or at least respond to this?
btw can you change sonic and the crews sprite to affect the fact that this game is sort of a transitional game? you affected robotniks appearance to adjust that it's a transition from classic to modern
Also also, PLEASE add a NTSC Filter cause there is areas of the background that use dithering. With the NTSC filter, dithering is used for transparency and extra colour generation
1.21 is out with a TV-Like filter option! Not exactly NTSC, but I think it looks really good with the background only dither effect. Just press F5 to toggle it!
Really glad to see someone that says the special stages are too easy. It's really refreshing to read this after months of people saying they are impossibly difficult.
Speaking of the bosses, the idea is that they have to be difficult, so no, no plans on making any of them any easier, as much like the special stages they already are once you learn their patterns.
It's impossible to pass special levels because I can't see where rings or bombs will appear, and there are too many enemies in each zone. If you fix it, it will be good. Thanks in advance.

For two weeks now I have not been able to collect all seven emeralds, even in the first segment I cannot collect the required number of rings and I constantly crash into these damn bombs.
I can only provide the usual suggestions for it. Don't give up!
* Most of the ring patterns are of two types: immediately near of the current line (when the rings are not aligned with the pipe sides), or exactly on the opposite side (when they are aligned). You should be able to identify them and react accordingly. It's meant to be fast, it's meant to have you miss a lot of rings. The total ring count in a special stage is very high, every section has more than 3x the requested amount so you have a lot of room for error.
* Don't rely on standing on the ground to quickly move on the other side of the screen, jump instead. It will allow you to rapidly land on the other side faster and with better precision than by running.
* Try to not stay in the bottom center. It's the easiest place to kiss a bomb.
* If you need to grab the spiral of rings, tap your controller instead of keeping the button pressed.
* If you light tap when wall running (or on the top part, just like in sonic 2), your character will stay in place for a few moments which will allow you to grab an entire line of rings rather easily.
* If you're in a curve and no rings are coming in the first few moments then there is a circle of bombs coming. Jump!
The thing is, I would say they are 'difficult' for the wrong reason. Not from patterns or placements, but from the nature of the animations where objects appear quite suddenly and come towards the camera at high speed, then suddenly and rapidly decelerate as the character has passed them.
This is quite disorientating whether you succeed or not. A bit more visibility and more consistent movement would make for a more pleasant experience.
I'm sorry, but there are gameplay reasons behind their absence.
- Flying is a very strong skill to have as it negates the need to platform. It needs drawbacks to compensate for it. Adding a flight cancel would allow you to curl into a ball in situations where you choose to be vulnerable to fly.
- Same as above. Being able to turn the transformation on and off on command would negate the only drawback of activating it when it really counts.
- Other than saying that 3D 2D is set before Mania, I consider the drop dash a bad skill as it renders the spin dash moot and is far too easy to perform to get free momentum. While the spin dash gives you momentum on command, it has the drawback that it forces you to come to a full stop to perform it. The drop dash is a skill with no real drawbacks.

You may have to click on "Show unpublished installers" to see the most recent ones. The most recent as of this post are 1.20 and 1.20 + DLC.
I was playing in Pannic Puppet act 1 with Spuer Amy, and this happened, I don't know if it's a bug, since instead of Amy having the animacon to fly like the other characters, she has that static animation and only when the battle against Eggman ends, everything returns to normal with Amy going down with the help of Tails

Did you try by opening it with windows itself?
There is no need for winrar as it's a simple zip file.
If you're using windows 10 it may be the usual issue with windows outright deleting it.
Also check if your antivirus and see if it is quarantining the file. You'll have to set an exception for the game to run if this is the case.

By the way, if you search some more somewhere else in the level, you may find the switch that opens the door to get those extra lives as well.

sometimes i will not be able to run this game because it wont open now and when i open it again 5 times it gives me a dll error from mmfs2.dll

In GG act 1 and 2 i found 2 big rings , in RRZ act 1 i found 3 giant rings , and in others ?
There are quite a few rings to find scattered in the zones.
Green Grove has 3 per act and all other levels until Volcano Valley have 4 per act. All of the heavily industrial zones have no Big Rings.
Also, some of them might be accessible only with certain characters.

hi sotaknuck. i'm adding custom music to the game, i've beggined to add custom music to it since a few days. and i'm still putting custom music to it. when i've will complete my custom music pack. i've will publish it to this site with my own instructions. i've will be adding sega genesis remixes of sonic adventure music to it too. considering sonic 3d blast is the last sonic game for the sega genesis/mega drive. and that the 2d artwork of the game was drawn by yuji uekawa. that it was the artist that made the artwork for sonic adventure. yeah i will add sega genesis remixes from sonic adventure songs to it.
oh. and that some of the music on adventure is recycled from sonic 3d blast.
Can you add a xBRZ Filter like Sonic 3 A.I.R? it will make the game have a better look and the sprites will look more rounded and cleaner. so it will be nice if you will add a xBRZ Filter.
I won't be able to insert such a filter as the game runs on native resolution of 320x224 and filters like xBRZ work on an upscale of the native resolution.
As far as I know for Fusion 2.5 filters stay on the same resolution of the game frame they are in and I can't apply a filter based on the window frame because the game ignores it.
I am working on a "old TV" filter of sorts though, and I'll release it in a future patch.
oh. and about the green sonic you have in your profile picture. i've searched "sonic riders oc" to find if there's an sonic oc with the visual design from riders. and i've finded a oc that is similar to that green sonic you have in your profile picture. and it's name is zack the hedgehog.

You have to set up an exception in your antivirus or it will keep quarantining or outright deleting anything that is extracted from the archive.
Well, I have a problem when unzipping the game, my antivirus detects it as a Trojan
You have no problem, unfortunately it's the norm.
You have to set up an exception so that the antivirus allows you to play. Antiviruses hate fusion 2.5 games.
Hello again, as today I decided to play the game again, in a game of knuckles, I was in pannic puppet act 1, I thought that if I did what you see in the video nothing would happen, but I think I found another bug

Ah! I see! it's the same problem there was with Shadow in that very same cutscene, and a similar one with Tails in Green Grove 1 that I fixed on old patches.
In short when the cutscene start the controller input is frozen and the button for the glide action remains pressed. This causes Knux to glide forward too much.

Not only happens with that starpost, it happens with the entire level, even if you do not touch the starpost that is before the boss of the level and you die, the act will have that background :(

I have a few complaints.
The special stages a piss easy once you get the pattern down
near VVZ, the game just nose dives in difficulty, especially the bosses. i'll name a few: VVZ 1 Boss, GGZ 1 Boss, PPZ 1 Boss (ugh, fuck this one especially), and TFF Phase 1.
in the final fight zone, can you make it so if you get to phase 2, you can restart from said phase? cause fuck restarting from the first phase.
can you try to fix some, or at least respond to this?
btw can you change sonic and the crews sprite to affect the fact that this game is sort of a transitional game? you affected robotniks appearance to adjust that it's a transition from classic to modern
Also also, PLEASE add a NTSC Filter cause there is areas of the background that use dithering. With the NTSC filter, dithering is used for transparency and extra colour generation

1.21 is out with a TV-Like filter option! Not exactly NTSC, but I think it looks really good with the background only dither effect. Just press F5 to toggle it!
Aside from eggman the characters do not change much from the classics to adventure...I don't think there is anything to change about them.
Really glad to see someone that says the special stages are too easy. It's really refreshing to read this after months of people saying they are impossibly difficult.
Speaking of the bosses, the idea is that they have to be difficult, so no, no plans on making any of them any easier, as much like the special stages they already are once you learn their patterns.
Special stages are difficult as they should be. They're made so that you won't get the emeralds on first try.
Still, if you practice a little, they'll be very easy to complete.
I can only provide the usual suggestions for it. Don't give up!
* Most of the ring patterns are of two types: immediately near of the current line (when the rings are not aligned with the pipe sides), or exactly on the opposite side (when they are aligned). You should be able to identify them and react accordingly. It's meant to be fast, it's meant to have you miss a lot of rings. The total ring count in a special stage is very high, every section has more than 3x the requested amount so you have a lot of room for error.
* Don't rely on standing on the ground to quickly move on the other side of the screen, jump instead. It will allow you to rapidly land on the other side faster and with better precision than by running.
* Try to not stay in the bottom center. It's the easiest place to kiss a bomb.
* If you need to grab the spiral of rings, tap your controller instead of keeping the button pressed.
* If you light tap when wall running (or on the top part, just like in sonic 2), your character will stay in place for a few moments which will allow you to grab an entire line of rings rather easily.
* If you're in a curve and no rings are coming in the first few moments then there is a circle of bombs coming. Jump!
The thing is, I would say they are 'difficult' for the wrong reason.
Not from patterns or placements, but from the nature of the animations where objects appear quite suddenly and come towards the camera at high speed, then suddenly and rapidly decelerate as the character has passed them.
This is quite disorientating whether you succeed or not. A bit more visibility and more consistent movement would make for a more pleasant experience.

I'm sorry, but there are gameplay reasons behind their absence.
- Flying is a very strong skill to have as it negates the need to platform. It needs drawbacks to compensate for it. Adding a flight cancel would allow you to curl into a ball in situations where you choose to be vulnerable to fly.
- Same as above. Being able to turn the transformation on and off on command would negate the only drawback of activating it when it really counts.
- Other than saying that 3D 2D is set before Mania, I consider the drop dash a bad skill as it renders the spin dash moot and is far too easy to perform to get free momentum. While the spin dash gives you momentum on command, it has the drawback that it forces you to come to a full stop to perform it. The drop dash is a skill with no real drawbacks.
A while ago I did ask about the Drop Dash, and I now understand not having the Drop Dash. I can live without it.

I was playing in Pannic Puppet act 1 with Spuer Amy, and this happened, I don't know if it's a bug, since instead of Amy having the animacon to fly like the other characters, she has that static animation and only when the battle against Eggman ends, everything returns to normal with Amy going down with the help of Tails

The flight action for Amy isn't triggering correctly. The code there has to override the normal controls and in Amy's case it isn't doing it.
