Hello, it should be "Target" for you, so you should make its path into "...blablabla\sonic3d2d 1.24.exe" /MIS1. The additional commands should stay out of the quote and separated by one space.
i will leave some of my ideas of what if looks like when starting this sonic fan project: 40 giant zones: 20 robotizized (like in kirby planet robobot when a giant alien machine touched the pop star and all the worlds has been robotizized) and 20 unrobotizized and the final zone like the final world of kirby planet robobot - 7 chaos emeralds and 7 super emeralds nights styled special stages with different themes in each special stages - 7 mania styled time stones special stages and 7 sol emeralds sonic 2 styled special stages: 28 special stages in total with 28 tracks for each special stages - a different type of encore mode for this sonic fan project and with 12 different playable characters: 6 from sonic and 6 from kira kira pretty cure a la mode with almost unique moveset for each character

Fusion + Sonic Worlds Delta (the one I used) is quite good and allows for an impressive level of customization if you want to invest time with it, but doesn't do 3D by itself.
There are newer sonic engines available but I'm not familiar enough with them, so I can't really provide recommendations. Jump to sonicfangameshq, they should be able to provide better suggestions.

lol. dude, you diudn't reinvent the wheel, you can't replicate sonic 3d blast in 2d - they are two totally diffeent styles of games ( for instance, you can barely jump in Sonic 3D blast, as it's an isometric puzzle game akin to captain toad, not speed, bopping enemies and bosses )
hello sotaknuck i found an odditie with the signpost of green grove zone act 1 it's seems that the camera is not blocked that it should be, it's only for green grove zone act 1
i can still climb with those walls even if i passed the level, it's an bug with the detection of the walls i checked and this happens in some levels, it only blocks the move if the signpost has stoppe moving, not the capsules
you should repair these goals for not softlocking the game if you climb in those walls if you're still moving in some moment the controls will lock and you cannot complete the level if you're still climbing
and there's more, first i did an spindash but accidentally pressed jump in the wrong time and this happened with the doors (for example the rusty ruin doors near the act 2 boss):
it will happen in other doors for sure but i dind't checked it, so you need to tweak the door open and the close so this will not happen anymore
in some type of bug? yes but the climbing in the walls doent's. you should let the movement active when a signpost is stopped spinning in some type of gamebreacking bug that you need to restart the game becauste of that it only works with knuckles or bluckles
It's a problem with the unlock of the boss camera and the lock with the signpost. If you get to the signpost too fast you may be able to trigger the lock of the camera before a second safety unlock I placed for the boss. I fixed it for 1.24
i've found these bugs during my playing time with tails, there are 3 i've found:
1: this bug let's you stay in the button from these capsules if you press it from the very edge of the button' this is not an problem, since you need to be at the very ledge of the button. to complete the act 2 (or act 1 if you're playing panic puppet zone) in every zone, you need to be a little bit centered to the button to free the flickies. this is a little glitch.
2: this is an collision error with the ground bumpers of this zone, to do this you need to jump and positioning in the right spot, this is more easier with tails or wechnia to trigger this glitch but it's doent's to be a gamebreacking bug or something, this is a little glitch too.
3: a visual glitch with the flashing colors with the bosses that make the hud a little bit messed up.
i've downloaded the shader pack for reshade, i've copied and pasted the shaders on the "Shaders" folder, i've installed reshade on your fangame, and started to experiment with the shaders, i've specifically downloaded the shader pack for the gtuv50 shader because i've used that shader in retroarch and it made really cool dithering effects, i've played sonic 2, and adjusted the setting of the shader a bit, and then i've played sonic 3 complete and i got really good dithering effects, (the elevator on launch base zone) i've was adjusting the gtuv50 shader for sonic 3d in 2d on reshade, and now i'll show a comparsion between the shader off and the shader on, you can really see the dithering effects your tv-like filter from version 1.21 does. edit: in "i've was adjusting the gtuv50 shader for sonic 3d in 2d on retroarch" i've did a typo, because it wasn't retroarch, it was reshade. i confused retroarch with reshade because both names are so similar to each other that i just confuse them.

i've found some early loops between the soundtracks of spring stadium zone (these including act 1 and act 2 respectly) and i will publish my custom spundtrack with loop fixes of spring stadium zone and i will call it the extra soundtrack
After playing this incredible fangame throughout all the updates that the game receives, I have realized that something is missing from the original game. That's right, I mean the medals or emblems scattered around the level that granted "Continue" when the player took Game Over It would be nice to see that option in 2D
and you can put custom soundtrack from the custom folder thanks to the saturn soundtracks dlc, to put the saturn dlc you need to put in the soundtrack folder and the custom folder too, this is my custom soundtrack in this game XD

You should be able to press start and enter the loop tuner option. With that you can customize the looping point of your audio tracks so that they loop perfectly.

Hello, if you're trying to extract the .zip file and nothing happens windows defender or the antivirus you're using are automatically deleting the game.
My "fucking" game works out of the box. And it's fucking amazing too!
It's either your antivirus blocking it, windows defender, or windows itself. Check their options to see if they are blocking it, and use Google to find a guide on how to set an exception for the game to be allowed to run.
I really hate having to ask this, because I feel like I suck. That said, let me preface this with the fact I managed to beat all of the special stages here. That said, they have the same issue as with the ones in another incredible fan game, Sonic Time twisted. That is, the difficulty factor is so high that it is crossing into frustration factor, and even after getting good enough to actually beat them, I don't care to ever do it again. In a future update, I highly suggest you simply add more rings to them. That would make it easier, still a challenge, but something that would at least be doable enough that it would increase the games replay value. I would otherwise want to play again, but the special stages are keeping me from it. Honestly the stages themselves could use a higher amount of rings too, but the special stages are definitely the ones hurting the most for it.
I'm sorry to read you encountered difficulties, but I did made the game harder than the average Sonic game intentionally, and I still think it aligns fairly well into the average difficulty of games in the nineties (which the game is trying to emulate).
The special stages have been tested a lot, and they are not as difficult as they first seem. I saw more than one person nailing them on first try, and I consistently manage to gather around 2x the required amount.
Each bonus stage contains more than 3x the required ring amount per phase, meaning that for example the very first special stage section with 30 rings requirement has more than 90 already there.
It's just a matter of practice and in identifying the ring patterns. The most common occurence is a left-right alternating sequence of rings, where you have to jump from a side to the other with almost no directional input.
Do not give up. Practice and get better. Special stages have usually been not on the easy side at first, not even blue spheres is without any practice, knowledge of the map and its jump mechanics.

I hope that you are reading this fine but I would like to know if in some future update of the fan game the special phases can be changed since in my opinion they are a little uncomfortable when moving the characters and they are a headache get the emeralds with all the characters. Another thing that I would like to see is if more characters can be put in another update, be it Mighty or Ray or some forgotten character in the franchise. also another thing is that if you can make mods with the characters that are in the game either skin or custom skills. well here I end and have a good day for sure good job SotaKnuck good fan game
Hello Dxbshz38, thank you for playing! At the moment I have no plans to add new characters to the game. I considered the possibility of creating something to allow people to mod characters in, but fusion and sonic worlds delta aren't that flexible to easily get that without changing too much code.
Hello. I want to congratulate you on your great work. I want to ask you, is there a way to run the game on its original ratio (4:3) in full screen? The game runs fine in full screen but when in panoramic, it looses its porpotions and the image flattens. Thanks a lot.
When you build the game you have to decide how it will behave in full screen, and it seems there is no way to have it default to stretch and enable the bars as a toggle in game.

Here's a very useful background that can become the outside background of Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2. Spring Stadium Zone Act 1 can also use it as well but only the water and sky parts would be there while the mountains and waterfalls are just in Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2. You don't have to use the mountain with the Eggman face by the way. It's free to use. You just have to give credit to the creator. That's all. Unfortunately its an automated behaviour of your operating system. It is automatically destroying the exe of the game as it decided it is a virus or an unwanted program.
Unless you go in your operating system's option and disable auto deletion you'll never be able to extract the exe out of the archive.
It's either your antivirus, windows defender or the windows itself.
I'm sorry, I have never experienced issues with the dll files of multimedia fusion 2, so I can't provide any suggestion at the moment.
I'm aware it's used in the exe of games made with fusion, and it is rutinely killed off by antiviruses, so I can only suppose it's either your antivirus or windows defender that randomly kills the dll when the game is running.
No, I didn't change anything other than the fixes you can see in the Devlog.
I can only suppose that for now the checks AVs run on the compressed files in the exe return a "valid" number that doesn't match some known virus pattern.
It's good to hear that at least for this version it stops being detected as a virus. Hopefully it will be true with future patches as well.

This fangame is good. Now someone pointed out some improvements that this game can use like improving the levels and changing stuff like the special stages and structure which I tend to agree with because there could always be significant improvements made to this like the backgrounds of some zones. For example, I would love the outside background of Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2 (which also appears in Spring Stadium Zone Act 1) to be replaced with a different background that looks more exciting and has some mountains because I tend to not like the current background right now but the new background can still be the evening background. The background of Volcano Valley Zone Act 1 could also go for some improvements because I would love to see the volcanic mountains from the outside background of Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1 to appear because they seem to be useful for the outside part of VVZ1's background. Perhaps those volcanic themed mountains from Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1's outside background can either replace the entirety of the Marble Garden Zone mountains or the front part of Marble Garden Zone's mountains can still be kept while the back ones are replaced. I'd go with the entirety of Marble Garden Zone's backgrounds because I think the background would look better with the volcanic mountains from Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1's outside background and some modifications can be made like removing the crystals that are on the bottom of those volcanic mountains. Gene Gadget Zone Act 2's outside background could also go for some improvements as well I would love to see the current bottom part replaced by the bottom part that's seen in Chrome Gadget Zone. Now some changes to music would be useful as well because I would love that in the Genesis set of songs that the Sonic 3D Blast invincibility theme to play for when the player is invincible while the music can speed up for when the player is on speedy shoes and the music for the mini-bosses is what I would love to be different while the Boss 1 theme is played for the main-bosses of the odd-numbered zones (including Panic Puppet Zone) just like in Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis) when the music mode in Sonic 3D in 2D is set to the Mega Drive version while the theme for the mini-bosses is the Sonic 3 Mini-Boss theme or a composed song made for Sonic 3D in 2D that can play during the mini-bosses of Sonic 3D in 2D. Hello, just use properties on the shortcut, and add /MIS1 after the "destination" path.

Once you create the shortcut, access its properties. In its tabs there sould be a section with type, path, and destination
After the double quotes in the destination tab just put /MIS1
the closest i get with this is target type, location & just target. and i put that at the end of the exe stuff and it says it's not a valid path

I wanted another 16-Bit Sonic Game.
umm I would like there to be a Mac version of the game because a have a Mac desktop I’ve tried crossover and anytime a set the controls it closes
I don't know how crossover works, but it is based on wine, so the crash on control setup may be for the same reason.
Try to install vcrun6...but honestly I don't know if crossover can install winetricks and make use of it.

this is supposed to happen with these enemies? because that enemie had an awful collision detection with the walls

To optimize the game and keep it fluid their collision is disabled when they are out of view, but I'll add more coding to prevent that.

You can climb the wall, because there is a wall...why should it be a bug?

sometimes that odditie doen'ts works it must be some type of speed if you get to the signpost so fast the camera lock doent's work that it should be

if your antivirus is blocking the game put the files to restore and put it an a exception like avast
well, my avast move the application in the virus chest and i had to put an exception and restore those files to the location of the game you put in
antivirus detects fusion games like an virus but don't worry, this game is a safe game to enjoy from the beggining to the end
and you can put custom soundtrack from the custom folder thanks to the saturn soundtracks dlc, to put the saturn dlc you need to put in the soundtrack folder and the custom folder too, this is my custom soundtrack in this game XD

Hello, go into the music options and select any of the custom tracks you are using.
You should be able to press start and enter the loop tuner option. With that you can customize the looping point of your audio tracks so that they loop perfectly.

Hello, if you're trying to extract the .zip file and nothing happens windows defender or the antivirus you're using are automatically deleting the game.
You have to set an exception for it.

It's either your antivirus blocking it, windows defender, or windows itself. Check their options to see if they are blocking it, and use Google to find a guide on how to set an exception for the game to be allowed to run.

There is no need for winrar as it's a simple zip file.
If you're using windows 10 it may be the usual issue with windows outright deleting it.
Also check if your antivirus and see if it is quarantining the file. You'll have to set an exception for the game to run if this is the case.

I really hate having to ask this, because I feel like I suck. That said, let me preface this with the fact I managed to beat all of the special stages here. That said, they have the same issue as with the ones in another incredible fan game, Sonic Time twisted. That is, the difficulty factor is so high that it is crossing into frustration factor, and even after getting good enough to actually beat them, I don't care to ever do it again. In a future update, I highly suggest you simply add more rings to them. That would make it easier, still a challenge, but something that would at least be doable enough that it would increase the games replay value. I would otherwise want to play again, but the special stages are keeping me from it. Honestly the stages themselves could use a higher amount of rings too, but the special stages are definitely the ones hurting the most for it.
I'm sorry to read you encountered difficulties, but I did made the game harder than the average Sonic game intentionally, and I still think it aligns fairly well into the average difficulty of games in the nineties (which the game is trying to emulate).
The special stages have been tested a lot, and they are not as difficult as they first seem. I saw more than one person nailing them on first try, and I consistently manage to gather around 2x the required amount.
Each bonus stage contains more than 3x the required ring amount per phase, meaning that for example the very first special stage section with 30 rings requirement has more than 90 already there.
It's just a matter of practice and in identifying the ring patterns. The most common occurence is a left-right alternating sequence of rings, where you have to jump from a side to the other with almost no directional input.
Do not give up. Practice and get better. Special stages have usually been not on the easy side at first, not even blue spheres is without any practice, knowledge of the map and its jump mechanics.

At the moment I have no plans to add new characters to the game. I considered the possibility of creating something to allow people to mod characters in, but fusion and sonic worlds delta aren't that flexible to easily get that without changing too much code.
Hello. I want to congratulate you on your great work. I want to ask you, is there a way to run the game on its original ratio (4:3) in full screen? The game runs fine in full screen but when in panoramic, it looses its porpotions and the image flattens.

When you build the game you have to decide how it will behave in full screen, and it seems there is no way to have it default to stretch and enable the bars as a toggle in game.

By the way, if you search some more somewhere else in the level, you may find the switch that opens the door to get those extra lives as well.

Unfortunately its an automated behaviour of your operating system. It is automatically destroying the exe of the game as it decided it is a virus or an unwanted program.
Unless you go in your operating system's option and disable auto deletion you'll never be able to extract the exe out of the archive.
It's either your antivirus, windows defender or the windows itself.

sometimes i will not be able to run this game because it wont open now and when i open it again 5 times it gives me a dll error from mmfs2.dll

I'm sorry, I have never experienced issues with the dll files of multimedia fusion 2, so I can't provide any suggestion at the moment.
I'm aware it's used in the exe of games made with fusion, and it is rutinely killed off by antiviruses, so I can only suppose it's either your antivirus or windows defender that randomly kills the dll when the game is running.

In GG act 1 and 2 i found 2 big rings , in RRZ act 1 i found 3 giant rings , and in others ?
There are quite a few rings to find scattered in the zones.
Green Grove has 3 per act and all other levels until Volcano Valley have 4 per act. All of the heavily industrial zones have no Big Rings.
Also, some of them might be accessible only with certain characters.

No, I didn't change anything other than the fixes you can see in the Devlog.
I can only suppose that for now the checks AVs run on the compressed files in the exe return a "valid" number that doesn't match some known virus pattern.
It's good to hear that at least for this version it stops being detected as a virus. Hopefully it will be true with future patches as well.
This Fangame is very good, It has excellent Easter eggs and it is a challenge to unlock the characters.

This fangame is good. Now someone pointed out some improvements that this game can use like improving the levels and changing stuff like the special stages and structure which I tend to agree with because there could always be significant improvements made to this like the backgrounds of some zones. For example, I would love the outside background of Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2 (which also appears in Spring Stadium Zone Act 1) to be replaced with a different background that looks more exciting and has some mountains because I tend to not like the current background right now but the new background can still be the evening background. The background of Volcano Valley Zone Act 1 could also go for some improvements because I would love to see the volcanic mountains from the outside background of Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1 to appear because they seem to be useful for the outside part of VVZ1's background. Perhaps those volcanic themed mountains from Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1's outside background can either replace the entirety of the Marble Garden Zone mountains or the front part of Marble Garden Zone's mountains can still be kept while the back ones are replaced. I'd go with the entirety of Marble Garden Zone's backgrounds because I think the background would look better with the volcanic mountains from Tidal Tempest Zone Act 1's outside background and some modifications can be made like removing the crystals that are on the bottom of those volcanic mountains. Gene Gadget Zone Act 2's outside background could also go for some improvements as well I would love to see the current bottom part replaced by the bottom part that's seen in Chrome Gadget Zone. Now some changes to music would be useful as well because I would love that in the Genesis set of songs that the Sonic 3D Blast invincibility theme to play for when the player is invincible while the music can speed up for when the player is on speedy shoes and the music for the mini-bosses is what I would love to be different while the Boss 1 theme is played for the main-bosses of the odd-numbered zones (including Panic Puppet Zone) just like in Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis) when the music mode in Sonic 3D in 2D is set to the Mega Drive version while the theme for the mini-bosses is the Sonic 3 Mini-Boss theme or a composed song made for Sonic 3D in 2D that can play during the mini-bosses of Sonic 3D in 2D.
