Version 1.35 Released! Graphics fixes - updated extensions


Quite a while from the last update, but with this release come a lot of changes and fixes within the inner workings of the game.

Fixes to glitches within the special stage, a fix to restarting the level in Panic Puppet 1, graphical updates and updates to the game's extensions that may reduce the detections the game gets as a virus...

All the changes on the extensions came at a cost however...the old savegames may no longer work with version 1.35 and you may have to start all over. Apologies, but I had to update them to at least try and get a more accepted executable.

Changelog

- Updated Fusion 2.5 extensions to their latest available versions. This should hopefully reduce the incredibly high amount of false positives from antiviruses my game gets...

- Fixed Shadow and Amy freezing in their ledge animations during their good ending cutscene

- Repositioned a Snowbomb badnik in Diamond Dust Zone 1 to prevent a graphical glitch with the frozen flicky spawning from it.

- Fixed layering of a teleport orb in Rusty Ruin Zone 2

- Fixed a glitch with the pause menu where the previous pause screenshot would occasionally be displayed for a split second before loading completely

- Fixed a severe bug with the pause menu which could potentially damage a saved game: When "restart" was used in the pause menu during the boss phase of PPZ1 with Tails or Wechnia, the player variables would be messed up and both UI and characters would glitch with Sonic or Ashura's data respectively.

- Fixed a layering error in the special stages which caused some bombs to not appear correctly into the screen during curves.

- Scaling improved for distant rings and bombs in special stages for maximum draw distance.

- Fixed shadows disappearing from all bombs in a bomb circle when the player hits one in special stages.

- Fixed a resizing error that would mis-scale 1 pixel in the vertical column in the exact center of the screen for some machines.

- Removed pixel tolerance on full screen to improve minimize pixel deformation.

- Updated the "keep aspect ratio" mode (activated in game with F12) and fixed extreme graphical glitches when overstretching the game's window.

Just wanted to thank you for all the work you've put into this game. Having a blast and bringing me joy. How many years would you say you've worked on this I always wonder?

I've been working on 3D2D since april 2017. The bulk of the work went in in the first three years however.

After 2020 I mainly patched bugs out and made improvements to it. I also released some major updates, like the Saturn DLC with the custom music, the achievement system, a proper pause system and the graphic filters, all of which were significant additions.
